ABOUT IETE STUDENTS FORUM
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is a leading professional society devoted to the advancement of science and technology of electronics, telecommunications, computers and Information Technology. IETE aims to promote and conduct engineering and continuing technical education programmes such as conferences, symposium, workshops and brain-storming sessions involving all concerned professionals, students and industry associations for human resource development. We are having ISF(IETE Students Forum) of IETE(Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) chapter in our college with wide approval letter dated
17-2-2010 with 167 members. This forum was inaugurated on 10-02-10 in the college auditorium by the chief guest Prof.Prashant .R. Nair, Honary secretary, IETE, Coimbatore Centre.The IETE sponsored special lecture on “BIOMEMS AND ITS APPLICATIONS “along with the inauguration of ELECTA was conducted on 31-07-10 in the college auditorium AT 3:00pm by the chief guest Prof.Jegajothi,Periyar Maniammai University,Tanjore. IETE sponsored Faculty Development Program on “RECENT TRENDS AND RESEARCH ISSUES IN IMAGE PROCESSING” was conducted on Oct 8th and 9th 2010.
