 TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL

 We are twelve years old college with good infrastructure facilities including excellent resources for placement activity. The department is headed by an experienced placement officer and the placement cell arranges training programmes to enhance the students to fit Industrial needs and face the competitive world. We conducted number of such training programme this year in 2010-11.

1. Mr.Sureshkumar, M/S.B.S.Consultant, Chennai gave rigorous training for four days from 14-17 Feb’2011 in aptitude for final year students.

2. Nearly 100 students of the above batch who posses good academic record,  again  Underwent the Aptitude training given by the same trainer Mr.Sureshkumar in advanced topics.

3. TRICHY PLUS, Trichy a reputed trainer in soft skill trained our above students in advanced soft skill techniques for five days from 7-11th March’2011. The details as under

4. We have signed MOU with M/S.Infosys software for campus connect program and under this collaboration TEC faculty members Mr.R.Raja & Mr.A.Karthikeyan who attended one week Train the Trainer programme at Infosys,Chennai trained the above students in Technical topics of CSE for five days from 21-25 Feb’2011.The details as under

 5. Also We arranged interactive sessions for our students with Alumni of the college    and a notable one among this is with Mr.Ravikiran, who studied MS in National University, Singapore and presently working in Global Foundry – MNC company manufacturing microchips with 8000 employees at Singapore. The interaction was fruitful to know the employment opportunities in Singapore and facilities available for higher studies in that country.
